It’s been 20 years since the band members of Haunted By Angels where in the studio. So much has changed since then, with all the crazy, why not a new Haunted By Angels album?!?
There are not many things that we can thank epidemic for but forcing some of us on to the internet for any sort of communication is one of them. And as bad as that can be, in this case it helped a lot of musicians find new paths to fans and each other. And for most people, facing the possibility of death from something as simple as a common cold also made silly things from the past just that much easier to look past. For some, it brought more value to past and present relationships. When faced with finality, one tends to look past pretty much anything to find peace and love again.
Along with the personal stuff, many technologies advanced in the field of music. In fact, the whole landscape changed. Bands were making music videos over Zoom, recording tracks from different countries even.
All of us have picked up Macbooks, connected our accounts and started laying down tracks in Garageband and Logic Pro.
So, I got to thinking. Why not us? None of us, well most of us are not interested in taking the stage again but why not get that chemistry going and make more music? If not for the fans (we see you), then for ourselves? There is no denying that we had a good thing. And at this moment in time, it could not be easier to write and track new music.
All of us have picked up Macbooks, connected our accounts and started laying down tracks in Garageband and Logic Pro. Dave has picked up some triggered drums and the rest of us have snagged some great devices to connect it all together remotely.
